How to clean your A6 Wall mounted Frame:

Do not use any harsh chemicals or abrasive cloths when cleaning your Perspex floating acrylic frame. Warm soapy water and a soft cloth is all you need to ensure your acrylic frame is kept in perfect condition. Chemicals sprayed onto the surface or also the edge can damage your A6 Coloured Wall Mounted Photo Frame.

What is the difference between acrylic or Perspex?

This is a question we get asked all the time at GJ Plastics and the simple answer is that there is no real difference. Acrylic is the generic term for the clear plastic that is widely used in clear or also coloured photo frames. Where as Perspex is one of the leading brands and manufacturers of acrylic sheet, other manufacturers or brands also being Lucite, Plexiglas and GreenCast. Perspex is Latin for “to see through” and was invented by them back in the early 1930’s, initially for aircraft canopies. World War 2 saw a huge demand for Perspex and as such a huge new plant was set up in Darwin, Lancashire, where Perspex is still manufactured today. Perspex acrylic is now also used in aquariums, bathrooms, furniture and signage.
